FIELD: medicine, particularly, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: fixing thread is brought through haptic element of flexible intraocular lens up to its implantation. Value of thread stitches on iris and haptic element of lens is different and stitches are made parallel to one another and to axis of supposed centering of intraocular lens. The latter is centered by alternative traction and loosening of external ends of thread. EFFECT: reduced probability of decentering of artificial crystalline lens and prevented complications connected with lens decentering, reduced injury to tissues in performance of iris-fixation and higher functional results. 3 dwg
