SUBSTANCE: emulsion for mining- destination explosives having simplified composition and exhibiting elevated stability contains, wt %: emulsifier, 0.5-3.0; liquid combustible, 4.0-7.0; sodium or potassium chloride, 4.5-5.5; water, 15-20; and ammonium nitrate, the balance. First, alkali metal chlorides are dissolved in water within their solubility limits at dissolving temperature and then ammonium nitrate is added, after which solution is mixed with combustible-emulsifier mixture at 80 C.
