FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: C3-C4-hydrocarbon fraction containing 50-70% n- 1-butene and up to 1% divinyl is brought into contact with catalyst containing 65-75 wt % of superhigh-silica zeolite ZSM-5 in H-form with silicate value 30-40, crystallinity degree 80-100%, residual content of sodium oxide 0.01-0.1 wt %, with added zinc in amount 1.8-2.2% (based on weight of catalyst), ion, 0.25-3.75%, and gamma-aluminum oxide, the balance. Process is carried out in fixed catalyst bed at 280 to 450 C, pressure 0.3 to 1.0 Mpa, and raw material space velocity 500 to 1000 hr-1. Fresh catalyst is activated by steam treatment at 540-580 C for 0.5 hr. Coked catalyst is regenerated at 550-650 C by nitrogen-air mixture with steam at weight ratio 2: 1 until residual content of coke on catalyst 0.5-1.5 wt %.
