FIELD: electronic engineering, in particular, aluminum-base alloys used as cathodes of light-radiation and photodetecting devices. SUBSTANCE: alloy includes the following components, mas. %: lithium, 0.3-2.5; magnesium, 0.5-6.0; at least one metal taken from group including zirconium, yttrium, cerium, manganese, chromium and scandium, 0.01-0.5; at least one metal taken from group including beryllium, calcium and strontium, 0.0002-0.5; aluminum, the balance. EFFECT: reduced firing threshold, higher luminesce at low voltages and current intensity values, i.e. increased quantum yield, prolonged service life and reduced width of radiation spectrum. 2 tbl
