SUBSTANCE: method includes placement of processed current-conducting part into galvanic bath filled with electrolyte. And application of alternating electric voltage to processed part and galvanic bath with condition of alternate performance of cathode and anode function and alternate passing of anode and cathode currents between them with provision of oxide coating on surface of processed part. At the same time after the moment of natural jump-like reduction of AC electric voltage value it is still applied so that IA1/IK1<IA2/IK2<1. Where IA1 is anode current till jump-like reduction of voltage. IK1 - cathode current till jump-like reduction of voltage. IA2 - anode current after jump-like reduction of voltage. IK2 - cathode current after jump-like reduction of voltage.
EFFECT: improved hardness and wear resistance of coatings, reduction of friction coefficient.
