FIELD: material engineering. SUBSTANCE: mesh cloth is made from glass rovings fastened with each other by piercing threads. Each core roving is enlaced by three piercing glass threads using "trico"-type weave allowing reliable fixation of weft rovings relative to core ones. Special mechanism of laying weft rovings gives rise to cloth with clear configuration of cells. Surface density of material is 180-320 g/sq.m. Material is further treated with organic binding agent to confer semirigidity.
