FIELD: materials technology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes fibrous alumosilicate composition material containing at least one layer of polydispersed alumosilicate fiber prepared by blowing up overheated gas-saturated melt of volcanic rock using high-temperature sonicated jet energy-carrier. It has SiO2 in the amount 55-75 wt.-%, density value 35-250 kg/m3 and fibers diameter 0.5-3.5 mcm. Material can be prepared from rock taken among the following order: obsidian, andesite, liparite, perlite, basalt. Invention provides preparing superfine fibers from high-module rocks. EFFECT: improved quality and properties of material. 5 cl
