FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: protective coating includes at east two layers of polymer nanofibres fastened by radiotransparent material. A film of hydrogenated carbon is vacuum sputtered onto each layer of polymer nanofibres, said film having embedded particles of a ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic material. Content of particles of ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic material is equal to 0.5-10 wt % in the film deposited on the outer layer of polymer nanofibres, and up to 80-100 wt % in the film deposited on the layer of polymer nanofibres adjoining the protected surface. The direction of polymer nanofibres of one layer and the direction of polymer nanofibres in the neighbouring layer form an angle φ, which is equal to 180°/N, where N is the number of layers of polymer nanofibres.
EFFECT: stealthiness in the acoustic frequency band while maintaining a wide frequency band and high efficiency of microwave absorption.
