MULTIPOLE WINDING OF ELECTRIC MACHINE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2153753 C1

FIELD: AC electric machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed m-phase multipole winding is single-layer winding manufactured with number of pairs of poles (1-6) p0>2 and, number of coils q per pole and with number of coils N of winding equal to mp0q. Phases of winding are made of several parts 7,8 equal to K=2÷ p0, even number. Coils in each part 7 or 8 of coil group are connected in aiding. In each phase of winding coils of next part are connected in opposition with reference to coils of preceding part to form number of poles p= p0-K/2. EFFECT: increased filtering capabilities of winding as one of key indicators of AC machines, expanded application field of multipole windings in electric machines thanks to possibility of alteration of number of its poles in process of operation. 3 cl, 7 dwg
