FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying full scale analysis of cardiac cycle structure to determine time interval values and their systolic-diastolic intercycle interrelations percentage. Deviation degree being within ±1-3%, normal response state is considered to be the case. The value being equal to ±5%, hypo- and hyperresponse state is considered to be the case. The value being equal to ±10%, extremely marked hypo- and hyperresponse state is considered to be the case. The heart beat rate boundaries describing those cardiac activity states are corrected. EFFECT: higher sensitivity and accuracy in obtaining integral estimate of cardiac state. 1 tbl
