METHOD FOR DETECTING THE DEGREE OF CARDIAC OVERLOADING Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2306846 C1

FIELD: medicine, cardiodiagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to measure systolic and diastolic arterial pressure and heart rate (HR) at rest. Then one should establish for rest the norms of all three measured parameters of cardiac activity, and the degrees of cardiac overloading (F) in times should be determined by the following formula: F=(Sr-Dr)·(HR)r/(Sn-Dn)·(HR)n, where Sr - measured value of systolic arterial pressure at rest; Dr - measured value of diastolic arterial pressure at rest; (HR)r - measured value of heart rate at rest; Sn - the value of the norm of systolic arterial pressure for healthy person at rest; Dn - the value of the norm of diastolic arterial pressure at rest; (HR)n - the value of the norm of HR at rest. Also, one should measure systolic and diastolic arterial pressure and HR at rest and at the preset physical loading being threshold for human beings, then it is necessary to measure again systolic and diastolic arterial pressure and HR, and the degree of cardiac overloading (F) in times should be determined by the following formula: F=(S-D)·HR/(Sr-Dr)·(HR)r, where S - measured value of systolic arterial pressure at physical loading; D - measured value of diastolic arterial pressure at physical loading; HR - measured value of HR at physical loading. The innovation enables to detect cardiac overloading at physical loading and during disease.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
