SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multicomponent peat-based absorbers and can be used for sanitary treatment of effluent gases, in particular, hydrogen sulfide, at waste disposal plants and also when performing odor removal in toilets and in garden and rural areas. Absorber contains, wt %: pit, 60-80; coke dust, 5-10; potash, 5-10; and sawdust (woodworking waste), 10-20. EFFECT: increased hydrogen sulfide sorption capacity. 2 tbl
