FIELD: domestic animal care means.
SUBSTANCE: toilet filler is made in the form of granules containing sorption components and functional additives. Filler contains mixture of waste paper cellulose and chalk used as sorption component, and zeolite used as odor absorbent component, said components being used in the following ratio, wt%: waste paper 50.0-90.0; carbomethyl cellulose 3.0-10.0; zeolite 2.0-10.0; chalk the balance. Filler granules are formed of 3-6 mm size and have residual moisture content of 3-5%. Method involves preparing raw material; granulating and drying raw material. Said components are used as basic raw material. Waste paper is preliminarily ground and soaked in aqueous solution of carbomethyl cellulose. Method further involves introducing ground chalk and zeolite in predetermined ratio into resultant suspension and continuously mixing until homogeneous mixture is produced; pressing for removing excessive moisture and granulating for producing of 3-6 mm sized granules; drying granules until residual moisture content of 3-5% is reached.
EFFECT: simplified method and reduced production costs.
