FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: the hole in the tread of a winter tire for the anti-skid stud has a base of a larger diameter than the middle part of the hole, which is made of a cylindrical shape. The base of the hole is made of a streamlined ellipsoid shape, almost spherical. The pin of the vulcanization mould has a part for fixing in the vulcanization mould with a complex end shape directed towards the tire cavity made with a larger diameter than the middle part of the pin made of a cylindrical shape. The end of the pin is made of a streamlined ellipsoidal shape, almost spherical.
EFFECT: improved technological characteristics expressed in the reduction of the formation of defects in the zone of formation of holes for the installation of studs, the stabilization of the installation of anti-skid studs relative to the surface of the tread part of the tire, and, as a result, an increase in the safety of tires and their consumer properties.
