FIELD: metallurgy, building and food (flour milling, confectionery and brewing) industries. SUBSTANCE: the claimed cast iron comprises the following components (wt %): 2.0-4.0 carbon; 0.5-1.5 silicon; 0.5-2.0 manganese; 10-20 chromium; 0.5-2.5 copper; 0.3-1.0 vanadium; 0.05-0.10 boron; 0.5-3.5 molybdenum; 0.05-0.10 zirconium; and the iron balance; in this case chromium to carbon ratio is 5-10, and total zirconium and boron to chromium ratio is 0.05-0.01. EFFECT: greater wear resistance and crack resistance, better workability of cast iron due to grinding carbide inclusions and increasing isotropy of microstructure and properties across section. 1 tbl
