FIELD: electroplating. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating of nickel coatings alloyed with up to 1.5% boron that can be used as functional coatings in radioelectronics and also as corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, solid, wear-resistant, and protective-decorative ones in mechanical engineering. Relevant electrolyte contains, g/l: nickel sulfate tetrahydrate, 300-500; nickel chloride hexahydrate, 13-25; boric acid, 25-40; sodium lauryl sulfate, 0.01-0.05; and sodium decahydroborate, 0.02-0.1.
