FIELD: water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: this relates to devices and mechanisms intended for pumping water out of artesian wells and delivering it to trunk pipelines in municipal water supply systems. Device incorporates pressure pipeline, multiple-section pump with immersed electric motor. Aforesaid components are installed in casing pipe of well. Mounted on pressure pipeline is main hydraulic sealing unit which is made up of case and sealing member. High water intake power of device is achieved due to fact that main hydraulic sealing unit is installed above static water level in well. Rigidly mounted on pressure pipeline are additional hydraulic sealing units, and each of them carries single float of determined mass. Hollows of sealing members of main hydraulic sealing unit and additional hydraulic sealing units are connected through water branch lines with hollows of pressure pipeline. Water branch lines of additional hydraulic sealing units are provided with valves which are installed so as to ensure non-rigid contact between sensitive member of their closing component made in the form of pusher and lower end face of corresponding float. Floats can be singly suspended by flexible members of equal length from additional hydraulic sealing units. Valve pushers can be non-rigidly connected to corresponding float through additional flexible members. Total value of length of such additional flexible member and value of working stroke of valve pusher is equal to length of main flexible members. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
