FIELD: water supply technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to devices and mechanisms intended for utilization of underground water and for operation of water intake structures, and particularly for pumping out artesian water and delivering it to trunk pipelines of municipal water supply systems. Device has following components located in casing pipe: pressure pipeline, multisection pump with immersed electric motor, and hydraulic sealing unit which is installed on pressure pipeline below hydrostatic level of water in well. Hydraulic sealing unit is made in the form of wedge-shaped collar installed on first welded-on flange of pressure pipeline. Located above wedge-shaped collar is float. Made in lower end of float are radially oriented guide members which are provided with pressure springs. Pivotally connected with upper edge of wedge-shaped collar are stationary axles of gates of link mechanisms which are uniformly distributed over circumference which is coaxial with pressure pipeline. Movable axles of gates are provided with rollers located in guide members of floats. Stationary axles of gates of link mechanisms are pivotally connected with second welded-on flange of pressure pipeline which is provided with limiter of gate turning angle. Application of aforesaid device ensures reliable sealing between walls of pressure pipeline and casing pipe of well. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
