DEVICE FOR DELIVERING WATER FROM WELL Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: water supply machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for utilizing underground water and operating water intake structures for example for withdrawing artesian water and delivering it into trunk lines of municipal water supply systems. Device has pressure pipeline located in casing pipe of well, multisectional pump with subsurface electric motor, and main hydraulic sealing unit which is made up of body and sealing member. Inner space of sealing member is connected with higher pressure line which is laid along delivery pressure pipeline. Device is provided with additional hydraulic sealing units which are singly located between flanges of sections of delivery pressure pipeline. Bodies of hydraulic sealing units are made in the form of floats with holes in side walls. Sealing member of each hydraulic sealing unit is made in the form of two inflatable chambers of cylindrical configuration. First of these two inflatable chambers is installed on body at side of casing pipe of well, second inflatable chamber is installed at side of delivery pressure pipeline. Spaces of bodies at side of hydraulic sealing units are successively interconnected by means of air branch pipes. Each air branch pipe is provided with valve mounted on upper end face of corresponding additional hydraulic sealing unit. Sensitive element of locking member in each valve is connected by flexible link of required length with lower end face of body of hydraulic sealing unit which is located above it. This allows to reduce influence of atmospheric pressure upon water surface in well, thus increasing water inflow to well from water-bearing bed. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
