Abstract RU 2124159 C1

FIELD: pipe joints with pressed sealing members; joints of glass-reinforced plastic pipes. SUBSTANCE: pipe joint includes two pipes inserted one in other; outer pipe has bell mouth with circular sealing and metal members fitted in it. End of metal member is flat, perpendicular to axis of its symmetry. Taper surface of metal member has larger angle of inclination as compared with taper surface of bell mouth bottom. Circular branch of sealing member is shorter than taper surface of bell mouth bottom. Congruent surfaces of metal ring and sealing member are secured together. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
