FIELD: information processing equipment, preferably, optical carriers. SUBSTANCE: method for reading information stored in noise-resistant code involves its reading, decoding, and recovery under reading from flawed tracks. Information which is read from flawed tracks and not recovered by decoding is corrected using self-assisted learning image recognition system. Test sample for system is designed as sequence of information signals received by information correction from previous flawed carrier tracks which have bee decoded successfully. EFFECT: increased reliability after long-term storage of information carrier due to integration of noise-resistant encoding and self-assisted learning image recognition system. 1 dwg
