FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has case, plunger with shank, and throttle made in the form of cylindrical shell with side slits drawn along shell circumference. Through hole is provided in center of shell bottom. Axial play of plunger and shank length enable closing or opening of shell bottom hole with shank end. Diameter of this hole and width of shell-to-case annular clearance are equal; their value referred to width of annular clearance between fuel elements and inner wall of process channel is between 0.7 and 0.9. EFFECT: reduced channel-to-channel difference in coolant outlet temperatures thereby improving reactor power efficiency; reduced trouble probability of fuel elements. 2 dwg
