FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves loading reactor core, controlling field of power emission using equalization of temperature of heat carrier at output from channels using movement of regulation rods in core when reactor operates. Enrichment factor, depletion, geometric characteristics of heat emission elements, channel usage, distribution of neutron flow provide data for detection of power emission in each channel, its comparison to average power emission in given load type of reactor plate in corresponding overload group, and equalization of power emission in channels by means of alternation in cooling liquid usage in channels of regulation rods or position of regulation rods.
