FIELD: wind-power engineering; wind energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: windwheel has tubular horizontal shaft carrying fixed revolving member built up of two drive disks mounted for synchronous rotation in opposite directions, their axes of revolution being held in fixed position on horizontal shaft by means of drive reduction unit, and annular casing around dusk circumference arranged in a spaced relation to disk surfaces. Horizontal shaft is passed through space between disks over diametric axis and coupled to annular casing located in plane of coaxial revolution of drive disks. Coaxial revolution of disks in opposite directions is effected by drive shaft passed through tubular horizontal shaft hollow and by reduction unit. EFFECT: improved efficiency and reduced size of windwheel. 1 cl, 5 dwg
