FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting and can be used in production of lamps and lighting devices with powerful, super-bright block LED chips. LED lamp housing is designed as a shell consisting of a bottom (base), axisymmetric shells and clamping ring. Starting sheet used is thin-wall roll of material with high thermal conductivity. Housing shell is moulded by a longitudinally-flexible transverse flat blank in an initial state; excess metal during molding and double folded edges are tied with a variable height, disposed radially on a conical or cylindrical contour, wherein shell forming side walls and ribs have a rectilinear shape, and height of edges in any cross-section defined by relation: h=π*H*(1/Cosφ-tgφ)/N, where h is height of shell section of its fins in a plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis; H is distance from bottom (base) of housing to cross-sectional plane; N is number of double ribs shell; φ is angle between generatrix of shell and longitudinal axis of its symmetry. Housing is provided with a ferrule that its petals with calculated shape and dimensions, covers tightly and compress ribs and mantle around contour in cross section and pressed with its shell side wall to end of established inside protective glass or a lens, depending on design of lamp.
EFFECT: technical result is decrease and stabilisation of thermal mode, high efficiency of light flux and longer service life.
