FIELD: agriculture, in particular, tillage tools. SUBSTANCE: cultivator-ridge former has speed sensor for measuring forward motion speed of tool, profile roller penetration depth sensor and profile roller rotational speed sensor. Signal generated by mentioned sensors are supplied to control unit. Required rotational speed of profile roller is measured on the basis of measured penetration depth h and forward motion speed. Inquiry of sensors is continuously carried out in each 0.1 m. Upon advancement of unit for 10 m, results of calculations of rotational speed and actual rotational speed of profile roller are statistically processed in control unit and compared. In case obtained values deviate from each other by more than 5%, control unit generates electric signal and supplies it to throttle-type regulator, which changes working section of throttle in proportion to value of obtained signal and, consequently, profile roller rotational speed until error signal resumes permissible limits. EFFECT: improved quality of ridge surface, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
