FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: cultivator has frame, rotavator, carrier wheels, drive mechanism, control unit, rotavator rotational speed sensor, unit advancement speed sensor, whose outputs are connected to control unit. Cultivator is further provided with ridge former spring-loaded with respect to frame and provided with protective housings of adjustable height and width, soil tillage depth sensor whose output is connected to control unit output and to tractor suspender position control mechanism. Control mechanism electrical input is connected to control unit output. Such construction allows quality of soil tillage at multiple passes of rotary cultivator to be improved. Rotary cultivator is preferably used for interrow tillage of soil planted with potato grown by seedling method. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 2 dwg
