FIELD: preparation of bandages of medical application. SUBSTANCE: bandage contains textile carrier of flaxen fiber or its blend with cotton or chemical fibers. Carrier is made in the form of woven or nonwoven or knitted fabric. Flaxen fibers are used in the form wastes of flaxen production. The bandage is ecologically clean and safe due to more conform conditions under bandage not provoking irritation of integument. EFFECT: extended assortment of bandages, utilization of wastes of flaxen production possessing low collapsibility, higher rate of wettability and susceptibility of shaping, low elongation and sorption of microorganisms by bandage surface contacting patient's integument. 4 cl, 1 tbl
