DEVICE AND METHOD OF ANALYSIS OF LIQUID MEDIUM Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: analysis of liquid media. SUBSTANCE: device for analysis of liquid medium has leak-tight body with hole covered by membrane having first and second main surfaces and capable of travel of ions and molecules between these surfaces. First main surface contacts liquid medium during operation. Aids to form at least one flow conduit limited by second main surface and membrane aids border on membrane. Body houses reservoir to accommodate carrying liquid medium, pump to create flow of carrying liquid medium in flow conduit for travel of ions and molecules through membrane between analyzed medium and carrying liquid medium and for transformation of flow of carrying liquid medium to flow of sample of fluid medium. Device incorporates one detector as minimum coupled to flow of sample of fluid medium to detect analyzed substance in sample of fluid medium and to generate proper detecting signal and at least one drain reservoir positioned downstream from detector to take in flow of sample of fluid medium. Method provides for measurement of content of feeding salts in treated water in works purifying sewage in real time with the use of proposed device. Time of response of device can amount to one minute and less. EFFECT: decreased time of generation of results of analysis of sewage. 9 cl, 4 dwg
