FIELD: mixing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a body, a fluid medium collector, a pump, a selector valve for reagents, and a flow cell located inside the body. The manifold contains a plurality of channels in fluid communication with tubes that extend into various respective reservoirs. The pump is functionally connected to at least one of the channels of the fluid manifold. The selector valve is functionally connected to at least two of the fluid manifold channels. The flow cell is in fluid communication with at least one of the channels of the fluid manifold. The instrument is capable of automatically controlling a pump and a reagent selector valve according to a mixing protocol to transfer the reagents within at least some of the tanks from their respective tanks through tubing to the fluid manifold passages with predetermined amounts of the respective reagents based on the mixing protocol and the ability to automatically control the reagent pump and selector valve to mix the reagents transferred to the fluid manifold to form a reagent mixture and then feed the reagent mixture from the fluid manifold to the flow cell.

EFFECT: improving the quality of mixing reagents and a matrix of samples, improving the quality of clusters of molecules in a flow cell used for sequencing.
