FIELD: production of furniture. SUBSTANCE: furniture is composed from hollow blocks made in the form of similar rectangular parallelepipeds with sides a, b,c and a¹, b¹ c¹, respectively. b = a + kx, c = b + kx, b¹ = a¹ + ky, c¹ = b¹ + ky, where a, a¹ are values selected for groups of children of different age; k>0 is arbitrary number; x/y ratio is 1.5. Parallelepiped faces have openings of diameters D(ab) <D(ac) <D(bc), d (a¹b¹) <d(a¹c¹) <d(b¹c¹), respectively. According to first version, furniture blocks have three faces and three rigid binding members. According to second version furniture is provided with panel mounted in vertical position on two equally sized blocks with sides a,b,c or a¹, b¹, c¹. Height of furniture is changed by overturning parallelepipeds from one face to another.
