FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: imaging system is used to obtain a plurality of projections of an object captured at different angles. A system of linear equations is solved using inverse matrices, the unknowns of which are Fourier transforms of images of the sections to be reconstructed, followed by reconstruction of the image of longitudinal sections of the object based thereon, wherein the coefficients are Fourier transforms of the delta functions of offset values for each projection and each section. The offset value for each projection and each section are calculated based on the geometry of the imaging system. The absolute terms are Fourier transforms of the projections of the object, and the Fourier transforms of the images of the reconstructed sections are determined by a least square method. Tikhonov regularisation is used for qualitative reconstruction of low and zero frequencies of tomographic sections.
EFFECT: high image quality with shorter time for carrying out the image reconstruction method.
