FIELD: medicine; neurology. SUBSTANCE: components of wink reflex obtained during electrodermal stimulation of superciliary region and magnetic stimulation of locomotory cerebral cortex are recorded, and latence of the first component is analyzed. If latence of the first component of wink reflex increases at magnetic stimulation not more 18.4 ms and electrodermal stimulation exceeding 15.2 ms, peripheral affection of facial nerve is diagnoses. If latence indices of wink reflex first component are equal to 13.7+1.1 ms at electrodermal stimulation, and they exceed 19.9 at magnetic stimulation, affection of corticonuclear tract of facial nerve is diagnosed. If latence indices of wink reflex first component are equal to 16.1+0.7 ms at magnetic stimulation, and they exceed 15.3 ms at electrodermal stimulation, affection of the first branch of trigeminal nerve is diagnosed. EFFECT: differential diagnostics of disease, higher accuracy. 7 dwg, 3 tbl, 3 ex
