COMBINATION TRAINER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: sporting training appliances. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for sports exercises and therapeutic or physiotherapy gymnastics. Combination trainer has upper and lower bases which are connected to each other by posts. Rope-and-pulley system is connected with set of weights and is provided with tackle pulley and spring-loaded pulley which are installed respectively on carriage and upper base. Carriage is installed on posts in the form of guide members. Rod is installed for possible fixing relative to carriage of weights and upper base. Rope tension regulator in one version is made in the form of eccentric lever and pivot parallelogram. Installed on one of parallelogram levers on axle is pulley. Rope tension regulator of other version is made in the form of pulley which is mounted on rear wall of carriage with rope reeved for possible sagging, and guarding housing which is open in upper and lower parts. Attached to ends of rope are stopping snap hooks which interact with pulleys on upper and lower bases. Aforesaid combination trainer improves convenience and safety of application and widens range of exercises performed. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 7 dwg
