FIELD: processes for producing articles of zirconium and titanium alloys by cold rolling of blanks in roll type mills or at first in roll type and then in roller type mills at intermediate and final annealing. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of realizing multistage cold rolling of products in roll type mills at increasing particular deformation values in comparison with those values of initial rolling stage at total deformation value exceeding 90% for zirconium alloys and 70% for titanium alloys. At making tubes ratio of deformation values along wall to deformation values along inner diameter is determined as 20 Q 1,0 ; deformation degree along inner diameter in all stages of cold rolling is no more than 50%, where Q= Es/Ed, Es=(Szag-Strub) /Szag., Ed=(dzag-dtrub.); dzag·Szag- thickness of blank wall, Strub-- thickness of tube wall, dzag- inner diameter of blank, dtrub - inner diameter of tube. At final rolling stages in roller type mills particular deformation value may be lower than that of initial stages in roll type mills.
