SUBSTANCE: paper sheets are equipped with protection strip which is embedded into paper for at least partially free access. Width of protection strip is greater than 2 mm. Paper sheet consists of at least two paper layers which are manufactured by different paper-making machines. Protection strip is embedded into first paper layer. Thickness of second paper layer is within range of 10- 50%, preferably 20% of total paper thickness. Protection strip may be water-permeable from one or both sides in longitudinal direction of strip. Fiber body of paper captures at least these permeable regions. EFFECT: possibility to use extra wide protection strips to allow special optical effects; increased protection against faking. 19 cl, 15 dwg
