FIELD: wind-power engineering; wind energy concentration devices. SUBSTANCE: deflector module has first and second hollow fairings mounted with their butt ends spaced apart through certain distance and interconnected through power connectors to form annular active zone over diameter with ring band arranged at certain distance above it. Entire structure is loosely mounted on top end of draft tube; vertical stabilizer that functions to position device along flow is mounted on second fairing. Device has no blade, adjustable-blade or wing members rotating in air (wind) flow and taking wind energy. This extends operating range of winds within which high-efficiency utilization of wind energy can be attained both at high and low wind speed. EFFECT: improved service life, reduced operating and maintenance charges. 2 dwg
