FIELD: measurement of flow rate of liquid, gas and steam. SUBSTANCE: inner diameter d of narrowing device of flowmeter with chosen value of its relative diameter and specified diameter of pipe-line is found. Hydrodynamic characteristics of narrowing device with chosen value of relative diameter are determined experimentally. Upper measurement limit Δpн of differential manometer is determined by obtained hydrodynamic characteristics and inner diameter of narrowing device with fixed values of upper measurement limit of flowmeter and composition of medium. Values of Δpн and d are used to find flow rate. Invention makes it feasible to increase accuracy of determination of flow rate of medium up to 0.2-0.3%.
