FIELD: brush production. SUBSTANCE: machine has casting mold for manufacture of main brush members. Casting mold has movable and immovable halves and two inserts mounted in recess of movable half. Inserts have openings for receiving bristle bundles. While one insert is in recess of movable half and cast molding is performed by flooding main brush members with bristle bundles in molding material, other insert is in position of charging bristle bundles into openings. Bristle bundle feeding device has movable bristle bundle carriers for moving groups of bristle bundles from bristle containers to casting mold. Automatic device is adapted for moving carriers between casting mold and containers. Machine allows brushes with bristle bundles of different composition and configuration, including different types of filaments and shapes of bristles, to be produced. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced production cost by eliminating additional finishing operations and wider range of brushes produced by machine. 15 cl, 14 dwg
