FIELD: oral care.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for the manufacture of a brush head with bundles of bristles held in an elastomeric matrix. Method (200) for the manufacture of brush head (10) includes: (i) placement (210) of first end (23) of each of a set of bristle bundles (21) in plate (110) for bundles, containing a set of cavities (120), each of which is made with the possibility of reception of at least one of the set of bristle bundles; (ii) application (220) of force by means of profiled plate (300) to second end (25) of the set of bristle bundles, wherein the profiled plate has a given shape, which is response to the required configuration of the profile of bristle bundles; and (iii) supply (230) of heat to each of the first ends of the set of bristle bundles, using matrix plate (400) containing at least one cavity (410) made with the possibility of reception of at least one of the set of the first ends at a temperature sufficient for at least partial melting of each of the first ends into the cavity.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at the development of innovative methods for the manufacture of a brush head with fixed bundles of bristles.
