SUBSTANCE: invention describes compositions and methods of decomposition of hydrogen peroxide taken at amount that is sufficient for contact lens disinfection. Invention proposes the use catalase obtained as a result of effect of one or some microorganisms, for example, Micrococcus luteus, Aspergillus niger or their mixture to accelerate hydrogen peroxide decomposition process. This catalase shows significant advantage as compared with that usually used for treatment of contact lens with bovine catalase, in part, this catalase shows enhanced stability.
