FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition for decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, method of its producing and lens disinfection. Composition has at least one component involving a substance for hydrogen peroxide decomposition and barrier coating with water-soluble covering component that is able to retain the component release for hydrogen peroxide decomposition for some time after contact with liquid medium. Barrier coating is prepared from a mixture involving water, ketone component and water-soluble covering component.
