FIELD: methods and devices for production of composite threads formed by combining continuous filament glass fibers and continuous filament fibers from thermoplastic organic materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing of thermoplastic filaments in the form of cloth with bundle or cloth of filament glass fibers after their heating up to temperature exceeding temperature of their conversion, and their stretching and cooling. The device for embodiment of the method has at least one spinneret for glass with many holes connected with impregnating roller and at least one spinning head for thermoplastic material. Spinning head is connected with at least one stretcher of drum type connected with means for heating and cooling. The device also has means for mixing glass fibers and thermoplastic fibers, twisting and stretching of composite thread. EFFECT: elimination of thread crimp. 11 cl, 3 dwg
