SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of cyclohexane of the formula (I) where R1 is CN or COOH; R2 is C1-10-alkyl-(R″)n, O-C1-10-alkyl-(R″)n, O-C3-10-alkenyl-(R″)n, O-C3-10-alkynyl-(R″)n, S-C1-10-alkyl-(R″)n being R'' can be substituted with R12; R12,R3,R11,R13 - C1-10-alkyl, C3-8-cycloalkyl, phenyl, naphthyl, pyridyl, thienyl, imidazolyl, furyl, indolyl, quinoline or their thieno- or benzoanellated derivatives being aromatic or heteroaromatic residue can be substituted with fluorine, chlorine, OH-group, CF3,, CN-group, C1-4-alkoxyl, phenyl or O-phenyl; R4,R5 are H, OH that are usual for hydroxyl protecting groups and can mean values as indicated for R2; R6 is H; Y is (CH2)m; Z is (CH2)m, S, -CH=C-((C1-4-alkanoyl), -CH=C-(R13), CH2-CO-, C3-10-cycloalkylene being 1-3 ring atoms can be substituted with nitrogen atoms, -C≡C- or -CH= C-((C1-4-alkyl); n = 0, 1, 2; m = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and their physiologically acceptable salts also. Compounds of the formula (I) inhibit activity of glucose-6-phosphatase in mammalian liver that results to decreased glucose release from liver and they can be used for preparing drugs that can be used for treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus.
