FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes catalyst compositions which comprise complexes containing polymerizable groups are useful for preparing polyoelfins. Said catalyst compositions are prepared in the form of polymers and are applied onto inorganic carriers. Metal complexes are preferably zirconium complexes the molecules of which includes polymerizable vinyl group such as bis-(3- butenylcyclopentadienyl)zirconium chloride or bis-(3- propencylcyclopentadienyl)zirconium chloride.
