SUBSTANCE: method of preparing polymer involves contact of unsaturated monomer with double-bound metallocene of formula I or II: (I), (II) under appropriate polymerization conditions. In formulas, each Z denotes identical or different cyclopentadienyl-containing radicals; R denotes C1-C20-alkylene radical or bivalent organic silylene radical bridging two Z radicals; x=1 or 0; R' is hydrocarbon radical linking Z and Me in such a way that there are only 4 atoms separating bound Z and Me and these atoms are carbon atoms; Me denotes transition metal: Ti, Zr, or Hf; Q is halogen atom; R" bivalent organic radical linking Z and Me; provided that P is such radical that number of atoms separating corresponding linked Z and Me is 2.
