FIELD: control of pipe-line valves, mainly control of pneumatic actuator of ball cocks of main gas pipelines. SUBSTANCE: the unit uses electromagnets and sealed-contact reed relays in an explosion-proof enclosure, and pressure- operated valves on a panel with ducts to feed the working fluid. The gas of the main gas pipe-line may be used as the working fluid. The explosion-proof enclosure is made of non-magnetic material, and the permanent magnets are positioned on a rotary shaft on the external side of the explosion-proof enclosure. The shaft is engageable with the pneumatic actuator of the ball cock. Electromagnets are cut in remotely from the control console, and they are cut out by means of the sealed-contact reed relays after actuation of permanent magnets on them after a complete turn of the ball of the ball cock to the "Closed" or "Open" position. The unit can be controlled manually by depression of the levers of the pressure-operated valves. To this end, the housing has plugs the levers of the pressure-operated valves can be actuated manually. EFFECT: expanded technological and operating abilities of gas pipe-lines. 6 dwg
