FIELD: compensation for change in pressure in hot and cold water through limitation of flow in pipe line at higher pressure; hydraulic machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has axially movable member provided with two cylindrical sleeves on either side from its central portion. This member moves in bore of housing provided with hot and cold water supply and discharge branch pipes. Ends of supply branch pipes are blanked off. Side walls of sleeves have radial which may be registered with radial inlet holes in hot and cold water supply branch pipes when movable member is in central position. Due to unequal pressure of water between ends of branch pipes member is set in motion; as a result, sleeves close or open radial holes of branch pipes, thus equalizing the amount of hot and cold water delivered to discharge branch pipe. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability; low cost of manufacture; adaptability for small-sized housing or cartridges. 4 cl, 9 dwg
