FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: fibroendoscope is used to agnose diseases of hollow organs and ducts of man and animals. Fibroendoscope has only one light-guide observation channel in the form of fiberoptical line. Illumination channel is made as semiconductor radiator positioned on working end of flexible probe. It makes flexible probe rotate through 360 deg. If flexible probe contains only one observation channel without illumination channel diameter of fiberoptical line may be considerably reduced, thus decreasing its mass as a whole and facilitating fibroendoscope manipulation.
