FLARE AND TARGETING LASER SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC F41G1/00

Abstract RU 2327943 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: flare and targeting laser system includes power supply unit, laser emitter, collimating objective lens and holographic optic element. Holographic optic element is placed after collimating objective lens to produce distinct blinding flare spot with targeting spot in its centre. The spot can be elliptic, oval or round, and holographic optic element may be placed on plastic or Dacron pad with thermal lacquer layer.

EFFECT: decreasing weight and size of the system and creation of distinct light spot with targeting mark in its centre at given distance from the laser system.
